My Experience with POOpeas:
“Let me start with —I am known as the girl that cannot grow a thing! As I purchased my new home I spent more time working with the Landscaper then I did with the home designer. I wanted the perfect trees and shrubs and by perfect I mean perfect in placement color and size. So as the trees and shrubs were delivered I allowed this take place and watched out my window as everything was carefully planted… They are professionals I thought as the yard took shape. The crew finished placement of the 3 trees and 10 shrubs ( as per our new home allowance and contract) and I watered them as instructed. I was told that I needed to do nothing more than water them ,the fresh soil and perfect placement was “plenty”. As an enthusiastic new home owner I thought seeing my yard “grow” that it needs a few more items : more hostas another tree and several ornamental grasses and perennial plants.
I got to work : dig, place add product POOpeas as recommended by the kind nursery man, cover with remaining dirt from dug hole, add water. A few months go by and at the first real house warming BBQ —my family and friends come over . As my brother walks the property he comments on selections of tree shrubs grasses and plants and points out rather quickly that “this that and those look great Christie but these need help!” I sat and heard him out as he explained they were placed to close to the house , probably could use more water …maybe I didn’t break the root ball up enough at original placement—blah blah blah! As he kept giving advise I thought to myself STRANGE I didn’t plant THESE my landscaper did! And you know what he didn’t use —because the soil was fresh and placement was perfect — the POOpeas! Well folks , I wish you could have been there in September (the first fall after purchasing this home) when the professional landscaper was replacing 2 of the 3 trees and half of the shrubs that were placed because of their lack to survive and in fact they had died.
And as he and his crew were digging them out I was trimming back all the things I placed using POOpeas as they had overgrown and needed reshaping NOT REPLACING. Thanks to the kind nursery guy that suggested a product to that girl that cannot grow a thing!
